Last January, Las Vegas Sands officially announced that it would join the race for New York casinos. This year, Empire State intends to license three commercial casinos in the Lower State, including Caesars, Wynn Resorts, Thor Equities, Saks Fifth Avenue, New York Mets owner Steve Cohen, billionaire Stefan Solovyov, and Vornado’s Steve Roth.
Sands’ proposal is to build a multi-billion dollar online casino no deposit bonus complex on the grounds of the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Long Island, New York.
The resort will also feature celebrity chef restaurants, experiential events and flexible meeting and conference facilities. Of course, the centerpiece of the project will be a casino branded Las Vegas Sands.
Las Vegas Sands also announced that it will consult with Long Islanders to jointly develop a development plan that will maximize the economic value of the complex, create stronger communities, and protect the quality of life for Long Islanders.
